Since the time of its foundation Fertben ltd.co. has always been committed toward the preservation of high quality standards for its fertilizing products.

Our sensibility for environment protection, which has been present since the same time, is now more and more meeting our clientele’s quest for quality on products and services processing in compliance to the national environmental prescriptions.

The overall results of one company’s management – environmental policy ‘s results being no exception- are normally conditioned by the level of effectiveness and efficiency permitted by the internal organization, the attention paid to flexibility , motivation, skill-training , and responsibility to assigned tasks of each employee. That is why, with regard to the environmental policy’s concern and for the fulfillment of environment related legal prescriptions, we have chosen to focus our efforts in these same directions.

Another objective we have fixed is the improvement of our capability to infer-face us with our clientele, present and potential, to be more easily available and operatively transparent in order to create a climate of substantial and effective collaboration and mutual trust.

We are well aware that the fostering of human resources has to be achieved by:

• training and knowledge , as the main instrument for growing the necessary skills and proficiencies;
• the effort to strengthen all employees’ sense of belonging and  commitment to the company’s different goals (here included  the defined environmental standards ).

In accordance with the above stated FERTBEN has identified the following key objectives and actions to serve as guidelines in the implementation of its Environmental Policy , a system adopted to optimize the fulfilling of duties towards customers and other referents such as Public Authorities, including binding issues of optional, contractual or mandatory nature.

The Environmental Policy has been defined by our company’s General Management in coordination with all sectors , with the aim to pursue ever-growing standards in terms of efficiency for environment protection and is largely consisting in a continuous activity of monitoring , reporting and verifying carried out by the use of instruments such as indicators and specific parameters as indicated in the program- documents issued by the direction itself.

Here below are listed our general purposes regarding this issue:

• continuous commitment to the Environmental Policy System’s guidelines with reference to ISO 14000 standards prescriptions.
• Strict planning and control of all activities potentially involving environmental aspects, that is : of all those activities, products or services that can have a negative interaction with the environment heading toward the fulfillment of the performance objectives defined for the improvement of environmental score conditioning company ‘s compliance to law prescriptions and/or its capacity to improve its environmental standards.
• Implementation of all those measures , preventive, protective, technical or organizational that should be taken to check or prevent fire-risk.
• Monitoring of process’ emissions into the atmosphere as the instrument to ensure company ‘s compliance to law prescriptions and to meet the quality and quantity standards as defined at national and international level.
• Research, evaluation and careful monitoring of all those suppliers of products and services considered as critical, as affecting not only the final produce quality but also one’s company’s environmental performances. The purpose is to promote the steady improvement in terms of environmental performances.
• Prevention of environmental hazard incidents due to insufficient maintenance of equipment and plant.
• Improvement of work-spaces’ conditions in terms of safety, hygiene and pollution prevention, so as to continuously pursues risk reduction for operators, products and environment.
• Energy and materials consumption’s optimizing.
• Careful disposal for the process-waste in order to steadily increase the portion of properly disposed and recycled waste.
• Full compliance to the applicable Environmental Legislation with reference to the Initial Environmental Assessment and its periodic revisions.
